This is the second album of Sleepy Hollow, 20 years after their debut release. The singer of the band is Bob Mitchell a singer that has sung in some great bands like Attacker, Wycked Synn and Vyndykator. The new album is in the power metal vein with a contemporary sound. The vocals of Mitchell aren’t as good as they used to be… The album isn’t bad but the biggest problem of it is in the field of songwriting… The songs are a bit tiring and are quite similar to each other. The album has some good ideas (like the middle part of “Death of a Horseman”), but that’s not enough… So, personally I wouldn’t suggest buying this album but you’d rather get the first album of Sleepy Hollow or some other Pure Steel Records releases like Artizan, Scarlatyna, Exxplorer, etc.
