This is the new release of High Roller Records which will be available both on vinyl and on CD format.Blaze is a traditional hard rock/heavy metal band from Japan, who released independently their first self titled album back in 2007. Personally I think that this was one of the best albums of the last few years!! The current re-release contains one bonus track. To cut a long story short this is a really great album that makes you want to hear it again and again!!! The guitar work of Suzuki is really great, the vocals of Shiota are really suitable for the music of Blaze, the production is the right one for the style the band play and their songwriting is really good! The majority of the tracks are short and catchy with great guitars in them. The best tunes are “On the Run”, “Fool’s Mate”, “Wiseacre in the Land of Nod” and “Set the Light”. The bonus track is called “Night Walker”, lasts 5 minutes and is also a really great song. In conclusion High Roller Records has offered us the chance to obtain this really good album with a nice bonus track!! So the fans of traditional hard rock/heavy metal know what to do!!! I have already pre-ordered my copy hoping to have their second album soon!!
